DBi Germany is a short programme offered exclusively for (E)MBA students from our partner universities, designed to offer insights into particular industry sectors. Students will have the opportunity to study the German automotive sector as well as the German energy sector. The programmes combine academic and practical content in a unique way, enabling students to witness theory being put into practice on site.
Each 12-day programme includes networking opportunities with institutions and companies where students gather first-hand information about current challenges and prospects. Students will learn in detail about international corporate strategy, implications of EU policies, lobbying, digital transformation, leadership and communication from a German perspective. Simultaneously, they will build their international network by working closely with fellow students from around the world.
Participation is exclusive to (E)MBA students from partner institutions after successful nomination. If you are interested in participating, please contact your home institution's international office.

General information
COVID-19 regulations
Our team is happy to help with documentation, finding reliable sources and general questions. However, we are not qualified to answer detailed questions about travel or visa regulations for specific countries. As a result, you will need to stay informed on what policies apply to you and how. For your convenience, we’ve compiled a list with reliable resources below.
For assistance with language, we recommend using an online translation tool (Google Translate, DeepL, etc.).
The programme will follow a 2G policy. This means that all participants need to be fully vaccinated (Geimpft) or recovered (Genesen) during the programme. We highly recommend that students get a booster or third Covid vaccine before arrival.
Local policy: What is allowed/what is not allowed?
Students are responsible for keeping up to date as this information changes constantly.
In Germany, the coronavirus infection rate is calculated as a percentage per 100,000 people. This is called the incidence rate or Inzidenzzahl. Changes in COVID-19 policy rely on other parameters as well, including but not limited to, the number of hospitalisations, the number of intensive care cases as well as the percentage of vaccinated individuals.
Regardless of where you are arriving or which country you are traveling from, you will have to fill out a digital registration on entry (Digitale Einreiseanmeldung) before you start your trip. According to current regulations, you will also need to provide proof of vaccination (with an EU-approved vaccine), or proof of recovery and/or a negative COVID-19 test (either antigen/quick test or PCR).
In Germany, regulations are split into four levels – national, federate state (Bundesland), municipal (Gemeinde), and university. Go through the list below and find out what regulations pertain to you at national and federal level (North-Rhine Westphalia, NRW). When the programme gets closer, we will communicate information for the lower levels namely municipal and university.

These refunds will be clarified on an individual basis and we will do our best to maximize the refund to the best of our ability.
We are unable to offer a refund if a participant cancels for personal reasons (including COVID-19 related reasons) or limitations imposed by their home country (including exit or re-entry restrictions).
