Our unique internship program "Passion for Results" offers you a comprehensive insight into strategy consulting for corporate or private equity investors and their portfolio companies. During your internship in our Munich office, you will work in a team with experienced consultants from our private equity practice group. You will examine different markets in terms of their attractiveness, analyze competitive dynamics, collect customer feedback and evaluate the strategic positioning and growth opportunities of target companies using modern analysis tools. On the other hand, you will gain project experience in the design and implementation of value creation programs. Program
During your four-month internship you will pass through different stations. You will learn how to identify attractive target companies through comprehensive commercial and operational due diligence and support our clients in increasing value, for example in a portfolio company of an investment company. This will give you insight into a wide range of topics in the investment cycle and you will benefit from a 360-degree view of the strengths of our advisory work and the private equity practice group. From day one, your colleagues will support you in ensuring that your learning curve is as steep as possible. To this end, you will not only receive regular feedback, but will also be assigned a consultant with industry experience as a mentor. You will also take part in events and benefit from other modules specifically designed for you, which will help you to build up a valuable network. If you complete your internship with excellent performance, you will be accepted into our intern development program "Springboard".
Your profile
- University studies with above-average performance (at least 5th bachelor's semester).
- Relevant previous experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance or M&A (multiple areas desirable)
- Excellent analytical skills as well as a good understanding of economic contexts, finance and numbers
- High quality standards, strong commitment and team spirit
- Very good knowledge of MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint as well as fluent German and English skills
Selection Day & Start Day
The selection day will take place virtually on Friday, 05 March 2021 and consists of three individual interviews. You will receive more information about the selection day in case of an invitation.
The start of the internship in the Munich office is possible throughout the year and will be arranged individually. The duration of the internship is fixed at four months.
