ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The formulation materials procurement team is globally responsible for the sourcing of raw materials for Bayer’s health care production sites. This means we are responsible for setting global strategic direction, and for driving long-term supply chain planning to optimize our commercial opportunities and to balance risks.

In close collaboration with our key internal stakeholders in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, R&D, and Finance, we develop and execute sourcing strategies, supplier development, market insights, and risk management to improve performance on delivery, quality, and cost to enable Bayer’s mission – Health for all, hunger for none.

You will have the opportunity to experience many exciting challenges. The projects range from conducting studies (e.g., make or buy and market intelligence), supporting global tenders and supplier management activities.

YOUR TASKS AND EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

•    support Procurement projects in the area of raw materials
•    analyze and evaluate supplier proposals
•    support global tender and implementation activities (RFX)
•    align with necessary stakeholders
•    provide spend analysis and develop reports
